Fall Varsity High School Sports Schedules 2022:
HS practices for Football, Volleyball, and Cross Country start today!
Football-3pm
Cross Country-3pm
Volleyball-4pm
Please bring physicals if they have been completed. If they have not been completed, your athlete still needs to attend practices everyday!
Today is our last Kindergarten Round-Up day!
If you have a child that will be entering Kindergarten this school year, please have them attend from 9am-12:30pm. Lunch will be provided for them. Kids will be completing fun activities with their teachers, along with getting to know the school and classroom.
Parents will have the opportunity to fill out all needed paperwork. You can bring: current immunization record, physicals, vision, birth certificate, social security number, tribal enrollment number.
Bring your child to the main entrance and they will be shown where to go. Hope to see you here!!
Hs girls golf will start practice on Thursday, August 11th at 4pm. Any girls interested in golfing, meet at the sports shed at the football field entrance.
HS practices are starting next week, Monday, August 8th. Practices will be Monday-Friday.
Football- 4pm at the field
Volleyball- 4pm in the main gym
Cross country- 3pm at the main entrance of the school.
Girls golf- TBA
Remember that all athletes need updated physicals before participating in practice. If they have not got a physical, they still need to attend their scheduled practice times.
Due to a water main break in the town, the WPS school building will be closed for today Wednesday, August 3rd.
Summer is almost over! WPS will start school on August 18th. Attached is the school supply list for K-6 grade students.
A law enforcement tactical training will be taking place at Winnebago Public School on Tuesday, July 26 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. Don’t be alarmed, it is only a drill. Thank you!
Breezie Treglia is the Rise Up High School Lifter of the Week.
Breezie will be going into the 9th grade. She plans to participate in volleyball, basketball, and track.

Reminder for any student that will be entering Kindergarten at WPS: Guardians, please make sure to go to the front office and get your enrollment packet, fill it out, and return back to the school ASAP. You will also need: current immunizations, current physical and current vision before they can begin school. August 18th is the first day of school!
Mr. Garthoff will not be in tomorrow for Summer Band Lessons. He will be there for Thursday's lessons.
Junior High volleyball students have the opportunity to attend the volleyball camp at the school on Wednesday, July 20th. If your student wants to attend- please come to the front office by the end of the day today and fill out a paper. It's a great way to start off the season!

Reminder- any student that will be participating in an activity in grades 7-12 for the 2022-2023 school year will need to have an updated physical. Please do this before August. HS fall practices will start August 8th and all participants need them to participate.
Reminder: K-6 Summer school will resume tomorrow at 8:45 am. This is for all the students who attended the June session. It will be the week of July 11 and July 18th. We are excited to see the kids!!
