WPS would like to remind everyone of the school policy on some health/saftey issues
as we are in the cold and flu season:
1.) Fever, children must be fever free for 24 hours without any medication that treats it. Fever is when they are contagious for whatever they have.
2.)Vomiting, When a child is vomiting they must go home. A parent/guardian or emergency person will be contacted to come and get them.
3.) Live bugs, children must go home and be treated. They can return after being treated and there are no more live bugs. Nits still need to be combed out and at least wear a hat or pull the hair up. It's very hard for children to learn or concentrate when their heads itch.

Just a reminder to not bring food or drink deliveries to WPS students outside of their designated lunch time. Any delivered items will be held at the front desk and students will be allowed to pick up any deliveries during their scheduled lunch time. This is a WPS school policy.

No JH boys BB practice tomorrow
Jh boys BB will be having practice from 12pm-2pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Players need to enter the main entrance doors and make sure to bring their own water bottles.
Jh boys will play Homer at Winnebago on Jan 6 4pm which is a change from the original schedule due to the holiday break.
Jh girls basketball will have practice 3pm Monday-Thursday. Player need to enter in the main door entrance and bring your own water bottles
Monday 12/30 game times were changed for the Holiday Tourney.
Girls will play at Wayne HS 12:30pm against SSC
Boys will play at Wayne HS 5pm against Cedar Catholic
Winnebago boys and girls basketball teams will be playing in the Wayne Holiday Tourney starting tomorrow. Here is the bracket

Just to let everyone knows the JH bb game vs Homer that is on the schedule was moved to Jan 6th. Please let players and relatives know there is no jh bb game tomorrow it is scheduled for Jan 6

Reminder that Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30pm is the WPS Winter Concert!
Classes involved: K-4, Fraizer’s 5th Grade, LaPointe’s 6th Grade, and 5-12 Band Members.
Elementary Students report to your classrooms by 6:20pm, and all band students report to the Band Room by 6 pm. Also ALL 5-12 Grade band members remember to bring your Instruments to school tomorrow. Happy Holidays!
