Favorite Memory of High School:
There are too many to mention.
Favorite Class(es)/Why:
Any of my wood shop classes with Mr Welsh. We always had a grand ole time.
Favorite Teacher(s)/Why:
Mr Stoner stopped teaching after my freshman year, but he never stopped giving me advice on life or anything I'd ask him about. One of the things that he said to us that always stuck with me is "it's not about the destination, it's the path that it takes you on and the things you learn along the way (the journey)"
Mrs Pick is also one of my favorites. She has her days, but since I met her, she's always been a good listener and has a good perspective on things when it comes time for her to give me advice on anything. Her English class will always be my favorite.
Most influential adult/Why:
My Choka, William Hallowell, has taught me a lot about managing money and being independent. He’s shown me how to budget and save, which has helped me feel more prepared for the future. Beyond just money, he’s always there to help me with anything, whether it’s life advice or just practical things I need help with. He always makes time for me, no matter how busy he is, and that means a lot. I’m really lucky to have someone like him in my life, and I’m super grateful for everything he’s taught me and all the support he gives me.
Future Plans:
I want to attend college to pursue a career in social work or counseling.
Words of Wisdom to Underclassmen:
Don't second-guess yourself & try something new once in a while.

Favorite Memory of High School: Academy trip to Washington, D.C. I was able to learn a lot from D.C, along with having fun and taking cool pictures with my friends. D.C was cool and had a lot of scenery, which was good to look at when we went on walks.
Favorite Class(es)/Why: Study skills: I was able to get caught up in work.
Favorite Teacher(s)/Why: Mrs. Fernandez, because she's been with me since 7th grade. She is always there for her students, and she helped me whenever I needed it.
Most influential adult/Why: My mother, because she helped me get to where I am now and stay on the right path.
Future Plans: As soon as I graduate, I hope to go to the army as a national guard while also studying at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I hope to go into Kinesiology and athletic training.
Words of Wisdom to Underclassmen: work hard, don't procrastinate, and try to participate in everything you can because you can find new interests.

Favorite Memory of High School:
Honestly, there are a lot. The school dances are some of my favorite memories, but senior year as a whole is my overall favorite. I met some interesting people throughout the year and formed friendships. Going to state for wrestling not once, but three times was my all time favorite though.
Favorite Class(es)/Why:
The science classes with Mrs. Eberly were some of my favorites, along with the math classes with Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Nelson. I love science and mathematical challenges, and I am most likely going to major in one of these in college. Another class that I took this year was Lifetime Activities with Mr. Benne. It's more like a PE class, but there were a lot of fun moments.
Favorite Teacher(s)/Why:
Mrs. Fernandez, Mrs. Eberly, Mrs. Brasch, the Garthoffs, and the Bennes are some of my favorites. Fernandez was my teacher at the beginning of junior high and still is. She has been there for me since then and can be considered my school mom. Eberly and Brasch made their classes really enjoyable and they were also there for me when I was going through some things. The Garthoffs were comedic reliefs, always there to crack a joke and lighten up my day. As for the Benne’s, it was really fun to scare Mrs. Benne throughout my high school career, which were some of my favorite moments. Mr. Benne was more of that laid back teacher that made coming to school more enjoyable with the games he would play during class. All these teachers were really supportive throughout my highschool years.
Most influential adult/Why:
My parents. They were my first teachers, role models, and sources of support. They helped shape me into the person I am today. I’m very grateful for them because they chose to be there and raise me, and also push me to achieve my goals, and to do better than them. #lovemyparents
More influential people in my life would be my coaches, Adam Tranmer and Adam James. They’re some of my biggest supporters and, I hope, they still will be when I go to college. They made my high school wrestling career fun and really enjoyable, and they supported me through my injuries.
Future Plans:
I plan on attending and wrestling at Doane University in Crete, Nebraska, where I will get a bachelor’s degree in some field of STEM
Words of Wisdom to Underclassmen:
For future student-athletes, remember you are a student before an athlete, so get your work turned in and don’t argue back. Set small goals that you can achieve each year of highschool.

Favorite Memory of High School: Being with my friends, hanging with my teachers, and learning a lot.
Favorite Class(es)/Why: Cooking class because I like baking and learning how to cook other foods. Sewing class because I like learning how to make pillows or bears. I like chilling with one of my favorite teachers. I like Art class because I like drawing and creating.
Favorite Teacher(s)/Why: Mrs. Burgett because she is so fun to hang with and she helps me a lot, and she’s funny. She is the reason I am graduating. Ms. Shipman is another favorite teacher of mine. She is really kind and also fun to hang out with. She’s taught me a lot. Mrs. Addison is nice and also helped me a lot.
Most Influential Adult/Why: Mrs. Burgett, Mrs. Addison, and my mom because they push me to go to school. They are the reason I am graduating.
Future Plans: To get a job and a huge house, and help my family.
Word of Wisdom to Underclassmen: Finish school by going all day. You will be like me- graduating- if you’re doing well in all of your classes. I want you to keep it like that and never give up. If someone is telling you you’re not going to graduate, keep doing your work and you will be successful.

Dawnissa Marie Aldrich
Daughter of Lois Whitewater and Michael Aldrich
Favorite Class(es) Why: My favorite class was Mrs. Benne’s Reconnecting Youth because I enjoy conversating.
Favorite Teacher(s)/Why: Mrs. Benne and Mrs. Burgett were both my favorite teachers because they inspired me in different ways.
Most Influential Adult/Why:
My most influential adult would be my Grandma Lauren Buchanan. She’s a very strong, hard-working woman. Her dedication is something I strive to emulate in my own life.
Future Plans: My future plans are to pursue a career in paleontology.
Words of Wisdom to Underclassmen: Drama fades, but your reputation sticks. Stay kind, stay real, and don’t get caught up in things that won’t matter in a year.
