District golf @ FairPlay (Battle Creek) 9am
Here is the Summer Band Lessons Schedule. If you still wish to take Summer Band, there are still a few spots left. Get them in as soon as you can. Monday Lessons will start June 2nd, and Tuesday Lessons will start June 3rd. Each lesson is for 30 minutes, so if your student needs transportation, please plan accordingly.

REMINDER: 8th Grade Trip to Pizza Ranch and a movie is tomorrow! Bus will leave the school at 10:30! Be there by 10:20!
WPS Spring Sports awards ceremony will be on Friday May 16th 9:30am in the theater for all JH and HS spring sports also including Unified Bowling.
WPS 8th grade promotion ceremony is at 2:30pm today. 8th grade students need to be here before 2pm as they will start lining up @2pm

Higher Education Program and Johnson O’Malley Program are sponsoring an 8th Grade Field Trip on Thursday, May 15th. You will be treated to Pizza Ranch and a movie at the Promenade in Sioux City. Bus leaves at 10:30! Please be here by 10:20 if you want to attend.

I would say my favorite memories of high school were my senior year of basketball, and winning homecoming queen.

Spanish With Fernandez, It was always fun and chill.
Favorite Teacher(s)/Why:
My favorite teacher throughout my high school experience is Mrs. Fernandez because of how kind and encouraging she is with me.
Most influential adult/Why:
My mom is the most influential person in my life because she is always there for me no matter what. I can always count on her for support or guidance. She is always helping those around her and inspires me to do my best every day and to be kind.
Future Plans: After high school, I plan to attend Briar Cliff University to further my education and pursue a degree in elementary education while playing college basketball.
Words of Wisdom to Underclassmen: Don't procrastinate and just get your work done as soon as you get it!
