Parents/ guardians just a reminder at 8:10 on regular days (9:10 on Wednesdays) the south entrance will be locked and drop off for students running late will need to happen on the north entrance. This is due to no staff being present after these times at the south entrance and our continued efforts to keep our WPS students safe by checking in at the main entrance with the secretary.
Jh football boys are on the way back from Pender. They will arrive at the school around 6:20. Please plan to pick up your athlete.

Just a couple reminders to parents and guardians.
1. Pick up location of students when school is dismissed is at the south entrance (playground area) this includes Elementary, Jr. High and High School Students. The buses are loading on the north side and will depart from there.
2. Checking out of students- parents and guardians are REQUIRED to enter the building at the Main School Entrance (located on the North side of the school) and sign students out at the front desk. Calling in requests WILL NOT be accepted. Your students safety is a priority at WPS.

To link to your student, you will need a Pairing Code. It can be obtained in two ways.
Your student can generate it for you. From their Chromebook follow these steps.
In Canvas, go to Account→Settings→Pair with Observer.
WPS can also generate a pairing code for your student at school.

Extra-Curricular Activities
Attendance at and participation in school activities is a privilege. Students who are suspended may not attend any school-related activities until they are readmitted to school. Only students in attendance during the regular school day may attend or participate in a scheduled school activity. School administration reserves the right to deny anyone from attending an activity or event based upon the safety and well-being of the school.
ALL STUDENTS GRADE 6 AND UNDER MAY NOT BE ADMITTED INTO AN ACTIVITY WITHOUT AN ADULT, OR SOMEONE THAT IS 21 OR OVER AND THE ADULT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STUDENT. IF THAT STUDENT IS NOT SITTING WITH THE ADULT, THE STUDENT MAY BE ESCORTED OUT.
If a student or adult refuses to leave an activity when asked, he/she may be subject to disciplinary actions and possible involvement of local law enforcement.
