This year the Winnebago Indians volleyball team had their parents night during the 2019 Winnebago high school homecoming week, held on October 3rd. The varsity game began at 6 p.m. at home. It was an intense game for the lady Indians, but they stuck it out and accepted a good loss against Winside. With the first set being 25-14. The second set we rounded it up two points, 25-16. Finally, ending the intense game at 25-19.
The seniors for parents night were: Savannah Fierro, Tia Yellowthunder, Jaidan Payer, Summer Snow, and Kiana Lewis. D
uring the Game against Winside, A sophomore, Auriah Means-Ghostdog, had two solo blocks and a couple kills for the team.
A junior, Natasha Deal, had a great game. Intensifying the crowd with 7 kills and 4 aces.
Although, the Lady Indians didn’t get the outcome they wanted, the season is not over, with a couple more games left of the season they will continue to work hard and enjoy the rest of their season.
