Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial

Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial

Up and coming rap artist Roddy Ricch is shooting through the rap industry charts with his third album release. Roddy released the album titled Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial on December 6th, 2019. According to Genius, since the album was released there have been over 3.4 million people viewing the album.

Roddy received a lot of attention drawn to his album from the song titled The Box. The song has over 64 million views on Youtube and 1.4 million on Genius. Another song that gets a lot of attention is High Fashion featuring Mustard. The album has been #1 on the Billboard Top 200 from December 21st, 2019 to January 18th, 2020. Roddy claims that this is his “best album”.  To some fans it is, but to others, it is not. However, the album sold 110,000 copies the day it was released.

There will eventually be a deluxe album but the release date has not been announced yet. The album is currently in progress but Roddy wants this album to be more than just music. He wants his fans and viewers wondering “Why?” He says wants to “feed the streets again” referring to his past two albums “Feed tha streets” and “Feed tha streets II.”  An interesting quote from Roddy is “I mean, we’re just going to continue to be great, and continue to strive for the best that we can. It takes a lot for me to be excited.”

In the writer’s opinion this is one of the best albums that he has released. There is a lot more truth about himself revealed in some of the lyrics of the song. I’d give the album rating four stars out of five.
