This school year we would like to welcome some new teachers, one in particular is Mrs. Bruchner. Mrs Bruchner co-teaches in English, Biology, Consumer Math, and Environmental Science so she sure does has a whole lot on her plate throughout the day. She earned her education at Wayne State College with her bachelor’s degree, and she just finished up a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and now she is working on her second masters degree from Wayne State College in Special Education. Mrs Bruchner has been working in a behavior program for 9 years, she has now transitioned to teaching. ¨To find new and exciting ways to keep students interested and engaged with their work is probably the most challenging thing about her job. Mrs Buchner used to work at Norfolk High School for 9 years and also taught at Tower school for 2 years.
A little more on her personal side: She grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska. She’s been married for 15 years and has 4 children, 2 daughters and 2 sons. Her and the family now live in Wakefield, Nebraska. What they like doing for fun is watching the Huskers play and spending time with each other. She really likes it here at Winnebago and looks to keep on teaching here for a while.
